Worm Wood Walking Sticks
The vine curled walking sticks are harvested in the cold months of winter.
The sticks are placed in the barn loft for 2 or more years and allowed to dry. All harvest sticks have wood worms under the bark when harvested. After years in storage the worms have left hundreds of worm tunneling in the wood between the bark and the hard wood.
Once the bark is removed, I create a beautiful and truly unique walking stick.
